FAQs
When is the best time for a newborn session?
The ideal window is within the first 6 to 14 days of birth, as newborns are typically sleepier and more flexible, making them easier to pose.
It's best to book the session during your second trimester to ensure availability.
What if my baby is older than two weeks?
It is still possible to capture beautiful photos, but older babies may be more alert and less sleepy, so some poses may not be achievable.
How long does a session last?
Sessions often last 2 to 3 hours to allow for feeding, changing, and soothing the baby.
Preparing for the session
How should I prepare my baby?
Feed and change your baby as close to the session time as possible or when I arrive to your home.
Keep the house at a comfortable temperature. It is recommended turning up the heat or turning off the air conditioning.
What should we wear?
Neutral-colored outfit, avoiding busy patterns or bright colors like red and orange colors.
Keep outfits simple, as big bows can hide a baby's features.
